Catering

Tasty meals are prepared in our own kitchens using fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables.

Meals are carefully planned to cater for all tastes, likes and dislikes. We aim to combine favourite foods into a well-balanced, nutritious diet.

Special dietary needs, such as diabetic, high fibre, puree and vegetarian are catered for in consultation with advice from doctors and dieticians

We also cater for ethnic and religious dietary needs.

Our staff are always on hand to assist those who need help.

Catering Equipment

Comfort and Care are greatly assisted by the provision of specialist equipment.

Specialist Baths, hoist, beds and mattresses are amongst the items that make that comfort a reality.

Sophisticated Nurse Call systems are installed in all rooms.

Our home is currently undergoing a mordenisation program that plans to completly update some of the facilities

Health & Beauty :

Residents enjoy regular hair care by a visiting hairdresser. Manicures/pedicures and aromatherapy can be arranged by request.

Dental care and visits to the opticians can be arranged. Clothing companies bring 'clothes shows' to the Home to allow residents to select new garments with the minimum of effort. .

Laundry

All laundry needs are attended to in house and we place great emphasis upon high standards to ensure efficient service and careful handling of our residents' clothing.

Cash's name tapes are advised on all items of personal clothing .

Library

We have a library of books and videos for all to enjoy and audio cassettes for our partially sighted residents.
